Boardvantage
Nasdaq Boardvantage is a software meant to standardize-to-comply executive board communications, which called for an introductory video that helped a busy viewer understand, value, and champion the product at-a-glance. As creative producer, I oversaw the strategic design and visual execution.
Visual storytelling
Using split-screen imagery to wholistically emphasize the descriptive, yet dynamic, narrative, helped drive a seamless underestanding of the product features, functions and capabilities.
Program Strategy
-
We identified the learning style and characteristics frequently observed within members of the C-suite and tailored our messaging to these insights.
-
The visual split-screen approach engages both hemispheres of the brain, creating a guided reinforcement of the carefully selected visuals. This aids more immediate mental retention and supports recall, lessening the effort the viewer needs to expend to understand and align.
-
To create visual transparency as well as accurately price around the custom graphics needed to convey the product, we opted to use all stock footage. This required an intensive visual curation process to imagine not only the correct allegorical visual pair, but also find a corresponding, royalty-free stock clip.
-
The stock videos were augmented with green screen and CGI to either apply the Nasdaq Boardvantage product or describe the interface and operability. The design of these elements closely mirrors the exact product design, with light graphic simplification to further streamline the story elements.
-
The final product video operates as both a pitch and an onboarding material for the Nasdaq Boardvantage team to showcase their product and sign on new executive board teams.
